This is the first time I have submitted a product review. I do so because I have found it quite difficult to find a suitable repacement for an old mattress protector, and I thought that it might be helpful for others to know that this might be exactly what they are looking for.
I am the carer for a disabled adult, and although I employ Kylie sheets, sometimes the ordinary sheets will be very wet in the morning. I have looked at products from Argos and Wilkinsons, but they do not appear to be so durable, and in one case it was only the top surface that was waterproof: I require the side to be waterproof as well. In a couple of cases products have been described as 'water resistant', which is not the same thing.
This product is completely waterproof, and fits over the mattress like a fitted sheet. I have only just put it on the mattress, but I can see that it is sturdy, durable, and much stronger than the one it is replacing (which still lasted quite a few years).
This is also one of those rare occassions where the cheapest product I have come across is also the best - by a big margin. If you require substantial protection for a mattress, this is what you are looking for.
