The feathers are treated to the European Oekotex standard at a very high temperature and each shipment is accompanied with the quality certification of a proper treatment. This kills all the dust mites and makes these feathers cleaner and healthier than any alternative. Due care is then taken while manufacturing these duvets, all the edges are always stitched with a twin needle sewing machine so the feathers can't squeeze out . Duvets are stitched in continental style, with a box baffle stitch which means each section is separated with a wall. This makes Homescapes duvets loftier, warmer and an ultimate sleeping experience. Besides the natural duvets, Homescapes specializes in high grade down like alternative to natural down for those who do not prefer a natural duvet. Very happy with this product.

I am obviously an 'aggressive sleeper' as I used to destroy mattress protectors within a couple of months.

The fitted corners always seemed to rip leaving me with the discomfort and irritation of sleeping on ridges!

Perhaps previous brands have skimped on material leaving too much stress on a standard double mattress fit?

Have had a couple of these ones for 6 months now and they are still going strong with no suggestion of impending destruction!

They are not a super cushioned, air pocket type that will transform a hard mattress to a soft one, they are essentially unnoticeable - which is what I want. My mattress provides the comfort and this is designed to stop that getting ruined from a coffee spill say. They are certainly thick enough to protect on this front.

Thick, fitting well, staying put and not under stress - perfect.

I bought this mattress protector after reading the reviews which were mainly very good. Although it fits the bed quite well, it is very thin, and there are a number of loose threads on it, so am not confident it will last very long after it's been washed a few times.
